Water and Recreation

Water fanatics are in their element holidaying at De Krabbeplaat. The campsite is situated on the shore of the Brielse Meer, a large recreation lake where all forms of water sport are possible: swimming, sailing, pedal-boating, canoeing, fishing or just enjoying a walk along the water. The island of Voorne-Putten also has a number of beautiful recreation lakes and natural rivers like the Old Meuse, the Spui and the Haringvliet. The island is on the coast and has a number of lovely beaches (Oostvoorne, Rockanje, and Hellevoetsluis, for example) just a few minutes drive from the campsite.
